Why do some internet marketers hide their identity?

Attraction marketing, Marketing No Comments »

I don’t know about you, but when I receive an email that doesn’t have a name and contact on it, it is immediately binned.

Why don’t some people want you to see their details, after all they have got yours and you might have exactly the opportunity they are looking for, or be able to offer some advice to help their message come across better.

The only time I will respond to a message in that way is if I see a problem with the message and I want to offer advice.

The most common excuse for this is that if they put their details on the emails they send out trying to sell their opportunity all they will get is loads of offers back.

In my experience, that doesn’t happen to any great extent, you do get a few people that respond that way, but not as many as you might expect.
I always put my details on any message I send, whether it is an email, or anything else, if you are nor prepared to stand up and be counted, most of your readers will consider:

1. You are either scared of admitting who you are

2. Your product is such rubbish that if anybody does respond and buys it they can’t come back to you because they don’t know who you are.

There are some people producing products who say in their information to affiliates, “Don’t put your details on the emails you send out” why shouldn’t you put your details out, at least it will help to get your name recognised and then if your name gets known people will be more likely to buy from you in the future as they know you have been around for a while and not just a ‘fly by night’ character who is going to take their money and run.

Be yourself and have confidence in your product, if you cant do that you will never be able to make it in this industry, self-confidence is a necessity, you dont have to be brash and ‘in your face’ about it but you must believe in it and your ability to promote it with honesty and integrity.

Is this Internet Marketing system too good to be true?

Attraction marketing, Marketing No Comments »

How would you like to pay $39.95 for a system which will immediately earn you $20,000 per month or more working only an hour or so per day?

Does that sound like an attractive proposition?

I saw an advertising program recently promising just that. It was a really well made advert, I am sure lots of people would have wanted to buy from it.

Why am I telling you about this?
Because I want to explain why these propositions are just scams!

You have to WORK to make it in this business, it doesn’t just come with a $39.95 proposition.

This program was offering: 10 “customized” websites and instructions for how to make money with them. They even offered an option to create 120 websites! Imagine how much money those 120 sites could make!!

What are they really offering?

Here is how those “plans” work:

For your $39.95, you will be sent basic information on making money with affiliate marketing. They will tell you about affiliate networks like ClickBank and PayDotCom and how to use them.
All of this information is freely available on the internet for free

They will also give you ten websites, this is how they do that:

Following your registration they will give you the address of their form page. This form page has a few fields such as your user name, email address and your chosen programs. You push the ‘submit’ button and you have your ten sites created instantly!

That is when the problems begin, you are given a sub-domain address, NOT a full address.
Your address will be something like:
http://www.YourUserName.TheirDomain.com

Not a first level address like http://www.YourSite.com.

This creates a lot of problems. Here is just one of them:

The search engines do not like duplicate content at all!

All of those sites are created from the same template. That means there are lots of sites (possibly thousands) out there already that are almost EXACTLY the same as yours (only the user information is different).

Each of these sites will be penalized by the search engines; none of them will ever receive any search traffic.

How can they promise $20,000 per month?

Maybe that was achieved when the site was first put up and was original, but since they have sold hundreds of copies it can never be achieved again.

Also as long as they have a “refund guarantee” in place, even if they bother to honour it (many don’t) they know that only a small percentage of the people who signed up will ever bother to ask for a refund (typically around 20%). So they can’t lose.

The Moral of this story

There is no such thing as a program that will guarantee to make you a fortune overnight.
You have to work at it over a period of time, get yourself known and build your business.

On average it takes about 3 years to build a long term stable business for yourself, you will be able to make money before that but a regular sustainable income takes time.

Therefore, get back to work now, learn whatever new skills you need to progress and build your business.

If you have any questions don’t be afraid to ask someone that knows the answer.

There is a free training program you may want to look at, the renegade university is based on the program created by Ann Sieg, but it takes it further by teaching you exactly what you need to do and showing you ‘click-by-click’ how it needs to be done.

Promote yourself, not your product

Attraction marketing, Marketing 13 Comments »

Are you new to internet marketing, or have you been active for some time, but never been able to make any real income?

The main reason for this is probably that the people reading your adverts don’t know you, and if they don’t know you they are unlikely to see your proposition as trustworthy.
There are so many scams and dodgy people on the internet these days, just out to make a quick buck, that trust is in extremely short supply in the marketplace. Would you buy purely on the basis of an advert from a total stranger, possibly, but if the advert came from a person had you built a relationship with you would be more likely to buy.

The best way to promote yourself is to learn the art of Attraction marketing, there are several training courses available to learn this, probably the best is Renegade Professional, this is a paid for service that has many hours of online video tutorials covering all aspect of attraction marketing. There is a free version called Renegade University that covers some of the basics, if you like that you can always upgrade to professional.

Do yourself a favour and check it out, you will not be sorry you did!

Become more attractive to your potential clients

Attraction marketing, Marketing No Comments »

To become a successful internet marketer nowadays you need to do something to attract people to you.

It is no good chasing leads all over the internet, because if they don’t know and trust you the chances of them buying from you are very slim.

There are so many people out there that are simply interested in taking your money and not following up or seeing if you are benefiting from their products that they fail to build any trust.

Would you ever buy from them again?
I think the answer to that question must be NO.

To be able to sell consistently you have to build a relationship with your potential customers, give them what they need before you try to sell them anything.
If they contact you to ask any questions, give them a straightforward answer, without selling them anything. Do this for a while and they will begin to trust you and then will be more likely to buy what you are selling.

Start your communication with new prospects by giving them something they need, whether it is information, advice, or a product. Get them to input their name and email when you give them your product, and follow up with useful advice and help.
Build a relationship with them and freely give your expertise to them. You do not need to know a lot more than them, just enough so that they come to look on you as their friend and an expert in whatever area you are discussing.

If you set up information where they can access it, through a blog, website, Squidoo page, you tube profile, or something similar, they will be able to find you and you provide them with useful tips on whatever subject you wish to.
This is how to start building your relationships with internet users that hopefully will become your customers, and friends.
Once you start building like this they will be likely to suggest others come to you for the help and advice they need.
